All except one fixture will be underway in the final round of qualifying for the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) after Sunday. Eight first leg matches will take place today with several rivalries in West Africa kicking off including Ivory Coast vs Burkina Faso as well as Nigeria vs Ghana. With Cameroon in action as well as a couple of duels from East Africa, Pan-Africa Football will update throughout the day with scores and videos of goals.

After a poor first half that saw them fall behind 2-0 at the half, Rwanda rallies with two valuable away goals to take back home to Kigali. It was a strong start for hosts South Sudan but the Bright Stars will need to avoid defeat in the return leg.

Ethiopia have fallen to Sudan in their home leg played in Libya. Al-Hilal forward Yaser Mozamil opened the scoring with a near post finish in the first half and Sudan found a late goal to double their advantage. The two teams will meet again in Benghazi for the second leg on Wednesday.

After needing penalties in their qualifying clash for the 2022 CHAN, once again Nigeria and Ghana played to a draw in the first leg of their duel for the 2024 edition. Niger and Senegal both achieved good results away from home while Ivory Coast hold the advantage against neighbors Burkina Faso after a 2-0 victory in Abidjan.

El Mami Tetah has given hosts Mauritania the lead over Mali in Nouakchott. Mauritania are performing well at home against a Malian team that has had past success in the CHAN, setting up an intriguing second leg when the teams play in Bamako.
