Top South African coach, player find greener pastures in Botswana

A top South African coach and footballer have found greener pastures in the top-flight league of neighbouring Botswana.

Attacking player Jacob Mosoeunyana Everson has found a new home at Jwaneng Galaxy FC while former Magesi FC mentor has secured employment at Black Lions FC.

The former FNB Premiership champions confirmed via a statement the signing of Everton.

“Jwaneng Galaxy is pleased to announce the signing of Jacob Mosoeunyana Everson,” the club’s statement reads.

“The 26 years old attacker signed two seasons, from Magesi FC, he also played for Moroka Swallows.”

Galaxy have also signed defender Roy Pelaelo Omphile on a three-year contract from Young Stars FC.

Meanwhile, former Orlando Pirates coach Da Game has sevured a job at Lions FC.

The former Magesi mentor confirmed to the press in South Africa that he had signed a three-year contract

Lions FC are a new team born from the acquisition of Premier League status of VTM FC.
