The winger who previously played for Barcelona after graduating from their youth setup, is on the radar of English Premier League sides, Newcastle, Aston Villa, West Ham, and Everton as well as Serie A giants Napoli.
The former Osasuna wide-man was instrumental in Morocco’s run up to the finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations where they missed the opportunity to lift their second continental trophy.
He played seven matches as the Atlas Lions lost 1-0 to Senegal in the finals of the AFCON at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in January.
Abde Ezzalzouli rose through the Morocco U-20, the U-23 and the senior side where he has so far collected 33 appearances with two goals under belt.
He joined Real Betis in 2023 from Barcelona after spending a season on loan at Osasuna where he made 28 appearances, scoring four goals.
Real Betis have placed a hefty €35 million to €40 million valuation on Morocco international Abde Ezzalzouli, with the winger attracting serious interest ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.
The La Liga side are open to selling Abde Ezzalzouli if their asking price is met, as interest grows from the English Premier League and Italy’s Serie A. At 24, the Moroccan winger is entering a crucial stage of his career, and Betis could look to capitalize on his rising market value.
According to reports, Newcastle United have identified Abde Ezzalzouli as one of their priority targets. The Magpies are expected to make a move if Anthony Gordon departs this summer, with a potential offer likely to fall in the €30m–€35m range. However, that figure remains slightly below Betis’ current valuation.
Abde Ezzalzouli is reportedly on the radar of several English clubs including Newcastle, Aston Villa, West Ham United, and Everton. Italian giants Napoli are also monitoring the situation closely as they search for attacking reinforcements.
The former Barcelona winger has steadily rebuilt his reputation since leaving Camp Nou. Known for his pace, dribbling ability, and direct attacking style, Abde Ezzalzouli has developed into one of Real Betis’ most exciting offensive options.
Betis signed him permanently in 2023 after a loan spell at Osasuna, where he impressed with consistent performances in La Liga. Since then, he has continued to mature tactically under Manuel Pellegrini, improving his decision-making in the final third.
With European football ambitions and financial balancing in mind, Real Betis may view this summer as the ideal moment to sell Abde Ezzalzouli for maximum value.
Abde Ezzalzouli also enhanced his profile on the international stage during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The winger played a key role in Morocco’s journey to the final, showcasing his attacking threat throughout the tournament.
He featured in seven matches as the Atlas Lions reached the final before narrowly losing 1–0 to Senegal at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in January. Although Morocco fell short of lifting their second AFCON title, Abde Ezzalzouli’s performances drew attention from scouts across Europe.
His ability to stretch defenses, take on full-backs, and create space made him one of Morocco’s standout attacking outlets during the competition.
Abde Ezzalzouli graduated from Barcelona’s famed La Masia academy before breaking into senior football. After limited first-team opportunities at Barcelona, he joined Osasuna on loan, making 28 appearances and scoring four goals.
His performances earned him a permanent move to Real Betis in 2023, where he has since continued his development in La Liga.
Internationally, Abde Ezzalzouli progressed through Morocco’s U-20 and U-23 levels before establishing himself in the senior squad. He has earned 33 caps and scored two goals for the national team so far, becoming a regular feature in Morocco’s attacking setup.
At just 24 years old, Abde Ezzalzouli still has significant room for growth. His combination of youth, international experience, and top-flight pedigree makes him an attractive prospect for clubs seeking dynamic wide players.
With Real Betis setting a firm €35m–€40m price tag, the coming months will determine whether a bidding war develops. If Premier League clubs intensify their pursuit, Betis may be able to negotiate a fee closer to their upper valuation.
For Abde Ezzalzouli, a move to England or Italy could represent the next major step in his career. However, Real Betis will only sanction a transfer if their financial demands are fully satisfied.
As the summer window approaches, the future of Abde Ezzalzouli remains one of the intriguing transfer stories to watch.
