Paris Saint-Germain manager, Luis Enrique has given wild praises about the performance of Moroccan defender, Achraf Hakimi.

The Moroccan star in was in superlative form for PSG in their 3-2 win at Olympique Lyon on Sunday. Hakimi scored twice to increase his goal tally to four in all competitions for the side this season under the Spanish gaffer.

Speaking to DAZN, Enrique raved about the exploits of the full back. “I also speak Moroccan,” when asked about the secret to Hakimi’s attacking prowess on the pitch.

“What I can say is that when you go two goals up away from home, you have to slow down the game, but wait, I have Formula 1 cars that want to go forward and run at full speed.

“But if the full-back goes forward and doesn’t score, it’s possible that we concede, which is something we are constantly trying to improve,” he added.

“After going two goals up, we should have controlled the game more, we should have performed on the pitch with our head and not our heart.”

Paris Saint-Germain moved 13 points clear at the top of the French league with 59 points, ahead of second placed Olympique Marseille.
