The Ethiopian Football Federation (EFF) has confirmed that the Ethiopian Cup final between Wolayta Dicha and Sidama Coffee will be held in Addis Ababa on June 8. The final game venue is yet to be disclosed, but Addis Ababa Stadium and the Abebe Bikila Memorial Stadium are the only two venues in the capital that the EFF has to choose from.

The 2025 Ethiopian Cup final is once again returning to Addis Ababa after the first-round games were staged in the city. Hawassa hosted the quarterfinal and semifinal games, as Wolayta Dicha and Sidama Coffee hope to end their league season with a title. The EFF has received permission from the city administration to stage the final.

The 2024 Ethiopian Cup final between Ethiopian Coffee and Wolayta Dicha at Addis Ababa Stadium saw crowd violence, and the EFF will take harsher measures if similar incidents occur.

Sidama Coffee has reached the final for the first time, while Wolayta Dicha are one-time Ethiopian Cup champions.
