Ademola Lookman agrees personal terms with Inter — Atalanta stand firm on valuation

Nigerian star Ademola Lookman has reached a full agreement on personal terms with Inter Milan, according to renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist reported that direct contact took place today between the player’s representatives and the Serie A giants, with Lookman making it clear that joining Inter is his top priority this summer — ahead of interest from other clubs.

However, a deal between the two clubs is not yet in place. Atalanta are reportedly holding out for a fee in excess of €40 million, while Lookman’s current market value is estimated at around €60 million — a figure that adds weight to Atalanta’s valuation.

Lookman joined Atalanta in the summer of 2022 and has since become one of their standout players. Over three seasons, he has made 118 appearances for the club, scoring 52 goals and providing 25 assists.

His contributions were instrumental in Atalanta’s 2024 UEFA Europa League triumph, and he was also crowned African Player of the Year in the same year.

Inter’s interest in Lookman reflects their ambition to strengthen their attacking options, but they may need to raise their offer to convince Atalanta to part ways with one of their top performers.
