Ademola Lookman returns to Atalanta first team training

Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman has reportedly returned squad training with Italian Serie A side Atalanta during their morning Thursday session.

Lookman has been absent from the Italian side due to reports of his summer transfer from the club to fellow Italian club, Inter Milan.

The saga brought a rift between the Nigerian and his club side who claimed they had a gentleman agreement that the forward will not join any of their Italian rivals.

Atalanta will next face Torino

However according to Italian news Tuttomercatoweb, the 27 year old returned to Ivan Juric’s squad for training as after the many absences in the attacking ranks.

Atalanta will take to the field on Sunday away to Torino, before facing Juventus in the Piedmontese capital on Saturday, September 27th

It remains to be seen what the Croatian coach will decide for the upcoming matches or if Lookman will feature in any of the game.
