A transfer away from Serie A side Atalanta for Nigeria national team forward Ademola Lookman is looking unlikely for the January window.

Lookman is reportedly being targeted by Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray, who have reportedly offered the 28-year-old forward an annual salary of €9 million.
However, Italian journalist Alessandro Giovanni Pagliarini reported that the Atalanta forward does not favour a loan to Galatasaray after he has regained acceptable playing time with his Serie A club.

Pagliarini stated this on his X (formerly Twitter) handle that a departure for the Nigerian in the short term is not considered a concrete possibility.
According to Palgliarini, Lookman has re-adapted to Atalanta and at this stage, there are no active or advanced negotiations before January. Pagliarini also reported that new coach Raffaele Palladino wants the player in his team and has a high opinion of the Nigerian player.
He further reported that Lookman is focused on Atalanta, despite the serious offer from Galatasaray.
It has already been reported that the Nigerian star has put back his Atalanta photos on social media after he yanked them off in August.
