Head coach of Aduana FC, Cioaba Aristica has shifted attention to the MTN FA Cup semifinals against Nations FC next Friday.
The “Fire Boys” left it late to beat leaders GoldStars 2-1 in week 28 of the Ghana Premier League on Friday at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Benjamin Tsivanyo fired Aduana ahead with Burkina Faso import, Razack Sanou drawing level for GoldStars.
Emmanuel Marfo restored Aduana’s lead in the 86th minute from the penalty spot to send them into the top four with 45 points.
Speaking after the match, Cioaba Aristica lamented his team’s profligacy on the matchday, stressing that his side must work on their conversion rate before their MTN FA Cup semi-final game.
“We want to concentrate and focus on a very important match we will play next week.
“We will play in the FA Cup next Friday, and we want to go and win that match and go to the finals.
“I have seen the mistakes from today, and we will work on that before the next game,” Aristica said.
The MTN FA Cup semi-final encounter between Aduana FC and Nations FC is scheduled for Friday, April 17, at the Swedru Sports Stadium.
