Action continues at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, taking place from December 21 to January 18, as the tournament moves forward with the third and decisive round of the group stage.
Today’s action sees the conclusion of the group-stage campaign for Group C and Group D, with all teams involved playing their final matches in the race for qualification to the knockout rounds.
The group-stage battles in Groups A and B have already been completed, with Morocco, Mali, Egypt, and South Africa securing their places in the Round of 16.
In addition, three teams had already guaranteed qualification before the final round: Egypt, Nigeria, and Algeria.
A total of four decisive matches will be played today, featuring heavyweight nations such as Senegal, DR Congo, Nigeria, and Tunisia, alongside Uganda, Botswana, Tanzania, and Benin.
