Head coach of Sierra Leone’s U-20 national team, Mohamed Lamin Kamara, has named a final 26-man squad for the upcoming 2025 U-20 Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Egypt.

The Shooting Stars will be making their debut at the Youth Tournament after clinching second place at the WAFU ZONE A tournament where they defeated the likes of Guinea-Bissau, hosts Liberia, and The Gambia before losing to defending champions Senegal.
Grouped alongside hosts Egypt, Zambia, South Africa, and Tanzania, Sierra Leone will relish their underdog status in a highly competitive Pool A.
Key among the young players are captain Momoh Ibrahim Kamara who finished as joint top scorer at the WAFU Zone A tournament with three goals. He was also named the competition’s Best Player. Included in the squad is Mamadou Jalloh – A promising goalkeeper from Denmark’s Brøndby IF youth system.
The Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) highlighted several players plying their trade abroad who have arrived to boost the team in addition to goalkeeper Mamadou Jallow. Below is more on the players as quoted from SLFA's social media pages:
