World football governing body FIFA has unveiled training bases across the United States that will be used by clubs during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
The four African representatives have now learned the locations of their training bases ahead of the inaugural 32-team Club World Cup.
FIFA Secretary General Mattias Grafström stated that the training bases will serve as welcoming hubs during the tournament. “These sites, and more significantly the people and communities that surround them, will welcome the world’s best, providing first-class environments and hospitality in support of the teams.”
Egyptian giants Al Ahly will be based in Florida and New Jersey. The Red Devils will train at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, and the Pingry School in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
South African champions Mamelodi Sundowns will train at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. Tunisian representatives Espérance de Tunis will be based at Oakland University in Oakland County, Michigan. Moroccan side Wydad Casablanca will be stationed at the Landon School in Bethesda, Maryland.
FIFA stated that the hosts have prepared top-notch training sites. The Club World Cup will kick off on Sunday, June 15.
