Egyptian coach, Ahmed Fathi has announced his decision to quit role as the head trainer of Ghana Premier League club, All Blacks.
Ahmed Fathi, who managed to transform the club’s playing style parted ways with the Swedru based outfit after the first half of the season.
He was not in charge of the premier league returnees’ game during their 1–1 draw against Nations FC at the Swedru Sports Stadium on Sunday.
A statement on coach Ahmed Fathi’s facebook page cited personal reasons to his resignation.
“Dear Swedru All Blacks fans,
Thank you for your support.
I have decided not to continue for personal reasons, with full respect to the club.
I wish the club continued success.”
All Blacks recorded some impressive results under Ahmed Fathi, beating record premier league holders Asante Kotoko 2-1. They currently sit in 10th on 23 points from 18 matches.
All Blacks are yet to release an official statement confirming Ahmed Fathi’s departure.
