Algerian international midfielder Ahmed Kendouci of Egyptian club Ceramica Cleopatra has broken his silence following the severe leg injury he sustained during a match against Pharco FC in the second round of the Nile Egyptian League's championship phase.

Kendouci suffered a brutal tackle from one of Pharco's players, which resulted in a leg fracture. The player underwent successful surgery on his leg and is expected to be out for a long period.

In a message posted on his Instagram Story, Kendouci wrote:

"Praise be to God always and forever. Life brings joy and sadness, but in moments of sadness, a person must be content and have faith in this test from God—it is a trial that will pass, God willing."

"I want to reassure everyone who loves me and checked in on me: I’m doing well. With your prayers and support, everything becomes easier. Your love is a great source of strength for me."

He also addressed the player who injured him:

"I want to send a message to my younger brother Yassine El Mallah. I know you didn’t mean it, and God is witness that I hold nothing but good intentions for you. This is football, and sometimes it can be harsh on all of us."

Kendouci added:

"What happened to me is not the end—this is a new beginning for a new challenge, and I am confident that I will come back stronger and better, God willing."

He extended his gratitude to officials and medical staff:

"A special thank you to the Algerian Ambassador in Cairo, Mohamed Soufiane Berrache, for his support and kindness. Full thanks also to Egyptian MP Mohamed Abou El-Enein for his care and support. I won’t forget to thank the medical team who accompanied me from the very first moment for their professionalism and great care.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who prayed for me, visited me, or sent kind words. Your love means so much to me. Until I return and see you again soon, don’t forget to keep me in your prayers."
