After a successful season with KV Mechelen in Belgium, Touba, who was previously expected to stay in Belgium and join Anderlecht, a club with whom he was in advanced negotiations, will ultimately change direction for next season.
Algerian central defender Touba will join the Greek league, where he will sign in the coming days with Panathinaikos FC. A team that will participate in the preliminary round of the UEFA Champions League. The Algerian international will join on loan from his main club, Istanbul Başakşehir in Turkey, for approximately €1 million.
This season, Touba has played 23 matches for KV Mechelen, most of them as a starter, and has scored two goals.
