Ahly clarify future of Ahmed Nabil Kouka amid Kasimpasa transfer talks

Al Ahly TV has revealed the latest developments regarding the future of midfielder Ahmed Nabil “Kouka”, following his participation in the U-20 national team’s friendly match on Sunday evening.

Kouka featured in the game where Al Ahly claimed a 1-0 victory over Egypt’s U-20 national team at Al Salam Stadium, as part of the Red Devils’ preparations for the upcoming season.

Speaking on Al Ahly TV, renowned presenter Ahmed Shobeir shed light on the ongoing transfer negotiations between Al Ahly and Turkish side Kasimpasa.

“Talks are still ongoing between Al Ahly and Kasimpasa over the Kouka deal,” Shobeir said. “There are still some obstacles regarding the financial terms. Al Ahly wants to get the highest possible value from the transfer, and the current figure being discussed is around $750,000, though it could rise.”

He added: “There are also ongoing talks about the payment schedule. Kasimpasa requested a delayed payment plan with long intervals between installments, which Al Ahly rejected.”

As a result of the unresolved negotiations, Kouka was cleared to take part in the U-20 friendly match, rather than continue to sit out amid the uncertainty surrounding his move.

The coming days are expected to be decisive as both clubs work to reach a final agreement.
