Nejc Gradisar, Al Ahly’s Slovenian forward, confirmed the difficulty of facing South African side Mamelodi Sundowns in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semifinal.

Al Ahly will host Sundowns at Cairo International Stadium on Friday at 4:00 PM GMT.

Gradisar stated: "I believe the match will be very tough. Small details will play a role in deciding who wins, so we will prepare well and give our all in order to qualify."

The Slovenian forward added: "I’ve been waiting for the moment to play at Cairo Stadium with full capacity since I joined the club. It will be a huge event for me and I hope luck will be on our side. There’s no doubt that the fans’ support will help us a lot."

Gradisar continued: "I will give my best. I trust that the fans will support us, and I will do everything I can to help the team win the match."

Gradisar joined Al Ahly during the last winter transfer window from Hungarian club Fehérvár, signing a four-and-a-half-year contract. Since his arrival, he has played twelve matches, scoring four goals and providing five assists.
