Emad El-Nahhas, interim head coach of Egyptian side Al Ahly, congratulated his players and explained the reason behind the early warm-up as the team secured a 4-2 victory over Al Masry in the fifth round of the title phase in the Nile Egyptian League.

Speaking after the match El-Nahhas said as quoted by Al Ahly’s official website:

"I congratulate the players on their brave performance and this important victory. I emphasize the importance of continuing this winning streak despite the pressure of fixtures. We are playing a match every four days, which imposes significant pressures on us, unlike some other teams. But the players’ determination and high spirit are the secret to our success."

The former Al Ahly player also spoke about the fans: "Even when they are not present in the stands, their constant support behind the team gives us great motivation to win every match and repay the faith of the great Al Ahly fans."

He added: "We entered the game down by an early goal from Al Masry, but the technical staff dealt with the situation calmly, and the players’ experience helped us quickly bounce back and take control of the game."

"We rely on offensive pressure and continuous chance creation, and that’s what led to scoring goals. We also have a distinguished group of players in all positions, which always puts us in a strong position and helps us maintain constant pressure on opponents."

The interim coach concluded by saying:

"We started preparing the substitutes early in the first half in anticipation of any technical drop, but the players quickly regained control and succeeded in securing the win with a solid performance."

With this result, Al Ahly temporarily moved to the top of the Nile Egyptian League standings with 49 points, two points ahead of second-placed Pyramids, who still have a game to play in this round.
