Al Ahly coach prefers defence to attack, reveals Emam Ashour update

Al Ahly head coach Jess Thorup expressed his excitement and ambition ahead of the team’s opening match in the 2025 Egyptian Super Cup, where the Red Devils are set to face Ceramica Cleopatra in the semifinals on Thursday evening. The game is scheduled to kick off at 3 PM GMT.

Speaking to Al Ahly’s official website on Wednesday, the Danish manager said:

“This is my first time taking part in the Egyptian Super Cup, although I’ve been to the UAE before during training camps with previous teams. I hope this will be a great opportunity to win another title with Al Ahly.”
