Experienced Ghana striker Abednego Tetteh has said some clubs have sought his service for the ongoing Ghana Premier League.
The 34-year-old has been out of action since deciding to leave Heart of Lions in 2024, a decision that surprised followers of the domestic top flight.
The lanky forward’s rich experience includes stints with Bechem United, Hearts of Oak, Gold Stars, Heart of Lions and King Faisal and Heart of Lions.
With the domestic transfer window set to open in January 2026, Abednego Tetteh will look to take another shot at the Ghana Premier League in the second round.
“Some clubs have contacted me [to help them] because I had no intention of playing in the Ghana Premier League again but I have been advised to revise my decision and so I am thinking of returning to play if possible,” Abednego Tetteh told Radio Gold.
“I have been contacted by three clubs to come and help their course in the Ghana Premier League but I am keeping their names under wraps for now because I have not signed any contract with any of the teams.
“If I will sign for any club, I will do so in the second round hopefully.”
Tetteh has previously played for two Sudanese top sides Al Hila Obeid and Hilal Omdurman, Ethiopia club Jimma Aba Buna, Real Kashmir and TRAU FC of India.
