In a surprising move, Saudi giants Al Hilal have completed the loan signing of Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah until the end of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

The decision comes as Al Hilal face a major shortage in the striker position, with both Aleksandar Mitrović and Marcos Leonardo sidelined due to injury. With no fit striker available in the squad, the club moved swiftly to secure an emergency reinforcement ahead of the crucial knockout stage.
Hamdallah, who played for Al Shabab last season, had an impressive campaign — scoring 24 goals and providing 4 assists in 30 appearances across all competitions. His prolific form and proven experience in the Saudi league made him an ideal short-term solution.
Fortunately for Al Hilal, Hamdallah is currently spending his holiday in the United States, which makes his integration into the team’s training camp logistically easier as the tournament continues on American soil.
Al Hilal have already made headlines in the 2025 Club World Cup, delivering a sensational 4-3 win over English giants Manchester City in the Round of 16. The victory secured their spot in the quarter-finals, where they will face Brazilian side Fluminense this Friday at 7:00 PM GMT.
