Officials at Egypt's Al-Ittihad Alexandria are considering selling Nigerian striker Emmanuel Apeh after the end of the current season, terminating his contract or refusing to renew it when it expires.

According to revelations made to Pan-Africa Football by sources close to the matter, Al-Ittihad Alexandria officials believe that Emmanuel Apeh has not made the desired contribution and has not compensated for the departure of Angolan striker Agostinho Cristóvão Paciência, best known as Mabululu, from the club since the start of the current season. It would be preferable to sell him or terminate his contract.

The Nigerian striker joined Al-Ittihad Alexandria last summer on the recommendation of Cypriot Nikodimos Papavasiliou, then the club's coach, before leaving and being replaced by Talat Youssef who subsequently left and was replaced by Magdy Abdel-Aaty.
