Al Masry SC have officially announced the appointment of Emad El Nahhas as the new head coach of the first team, replacing Tunisian manager Nabil Kouki following a dip in results.
Kouki’s departure came after a heavy 4-1 defeat to Zamalek in the Nile Egyptian League, bringing an end to his tenure with the Port Said-based club.
El Nahhas arrives with a solid coaching résumé. He previously led Al Ahly during a crucial phase last season, overseeing six matches and winning all of them, playing a key role in securing the league title.
He also had a recent spell with Iraqi side Al Zawraa between October 2025 and February 2026, where he recorded 11 wins in 20 matches, alongside five draws and four defeats.
Al Masry currently sit fifth in the Nile Egyptian League championship round with 32 points, and will be aiming to improve their position and secure qualification for next season’s African competitions under their new manager.
