The Egyptian side currently top the group with six points, followed by Zamalek with four points, Kaizer Chiefs with one point, and ZESCO United at the bottom with zero points after two rounds.
Egyptian club Al Masry have officially announced the signing of Mostafa El Aash, defender of Al Ahly, during the ongoing winter transfer window.
Al Masry confirmed that they have secured El Aash on a season-and-a-half loan deal from Al Ahly.
Mostafa El Aash leaves Al Ahly after spending one year with the club, having joined in January 2025 from ZED FC. During his time with the Red Devils, the defender made 21 appearances across all competitions, providing one assist without scoring any goals.
The 25-year-old is capable of playing both as a centre-back and a left-back, and previously featured for Ghazl El Mahalla and ZED FC before moving to Al Ahly.
El Ash becomes Al Masry’s third signing of the January window, following the arrivals of Moroccan midfielder Osama Zemraoui from Wydad Casablanca and Palestinian international Amid Sawaftha from Jordanian side Al-Salt.
Al Masry are placed in Group D of the CAF Confederation Cup, alongside Zamalek (Egypt), Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa), and ZESCO United (Zambia).
