The Algerian Football Federation (FAF) has announced that the national team’s technical staff, led by head coach Vladimir Petkovic, has decided to release Hicham Boudaoui and Mohamed Amine Amoura from the ongoing training camp in Saudi Arabia.

According to an official FAF statement, both players underwent medical evaluation that confirmed they are not fit to participate in Tuesday’s friendly match against Saudi Arabia.

Boudaoui’s Pain

FAF explained that Hicham Boudaoui joined the camp already suffering from pain and had been following a tailored recovery program. However, the latest medical evaluation ruled him out of the upcoming match, prompting the staff to release him.

Amoura Sidelined with Adductor Injury

Medical tests also revealed that forward Mohamed Amine Amoura is dealing with minor injury, requiring enforced rest to ensure full recovery before returning to competition.
