Round 26 from Algeria's Ligue 1 Professionelle continued on Saturday and it was Paradou AC who emerged victorious while JS Kabylie's momentum came to a halt.
Adil Boulbina's late goal confirmed a 3-1 victory for Paradou AC over struggling USM Alger. The 22-year-old scoring prodigy now has eighteen goals this season and the latest starlet to emerge from the renowned PAC academy is set for a move abroad soon. Boulbina opened the scoring with a technical free kick strike that USMA keeper Oussama Benbout made a mess of.
But it was JS Kabylie who will be suffering the most after dropping a 1-2 defeat at home against JS Saoura. Aimen Lahmeri put the hosts into the lead in the 13th minute but it went all wrong from that point.
JSS responded with two goals before halftime and after nine games without defeat, JSK remain level on points with league leaders MC Alger. Saturday provided a perfect opportunity to put the pressure on the struggling leaders but JSK will surely regret this result.
Four more matches will take place from the round on Sunday and Monday. Title contenders MC Alger and CR Belouizdad will be in action on Monday.
