The Algerian Football Federation has officially announced that the Algeria national football team will take on the Netherlands national football team in an international friendly as part of preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The match is scheduled for June 3 and will be held in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, offering the Desert Foxes a European test just days before the global tournament kicks off.
The game comes as both nations fine-tune their squads for the 2026 World Cup, which will be hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada from June 11 to July 19.
Algeria have been drawn into Group J alongside Argentina, Austria, and Jordan, setting up a challenging path in the group stage.
Meanwhile, the Netherlands will compete in Group F, where they face Tunisia, Japan, and the winner of the European play-off bracket featuring Ukraine, Sweden, Poland, and Albania.
