The Algerian Football Federation announced on Friday that the senior national team will hold a preparatory training camp in Italy from March 23 to 31, in line with the upcoming international break set by FIFA.
The camp forms part of Algeria’s preparations for the upcoming World Cup finals. Algeria have been drawn into Group J of the FIFA World Cup 2026 alongside Argentina, Austria and Jordan.
During the camp, “Les Verts” will play two international friendlies. The first match will take place on March 27 against Guatemala national football team at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris in Genoa.
The second friendly is scheduled for March 31 against the Uruguay national football team at Allianz Stadium in Turin.
The official squad list for the training camp will be announced at a later date.
The upcoming camp presents an opportunity for Algeria to test their tactical readiness, as they continue their roadmap toward the World Cup.
