The Algerian Professional Football League has officially announced the postponement of several fixtures, including the derby between MC Alger and USM Alger, known as Algiers Derby, which was originally scheduled for Monday, March 30, 2026 in round 17 of the Algerian League.
The decision comes in light of the passing of former Algerian President Liamine Zeroual, who died at Ain Naadja Military Hospital, prompting a nationwide period of mourning.
