Ali Maaloul inspires CS Sfaxien to victory with two assists

CS Sfaxien secured a 2–0 win over AS Soliman in matchday ten of the Tunisian Ligue 1 Professionelle, with veteran left-back Ali Maaloul playing a starring role.

Starting the game, Maaloul delivered a masterclass in set-piece precision — providing two assists that directly led to Sfaxien’s goals.

The 35-year-old opened his account of the day with a corner that found Mohamed Amine Ben Ali, who headed home the opener. Ali Maaloul then repeated his magic later in the match, this time from a free-kick, which Omar Ben Ali redirected into the net to seal the win.

With this result, CS Sfaxien climb to sixth place in the Tunisian Ligue 1 Professionelle standings with 16 points from 10 matches.
