Ghanaian starlet Ezekiel Alladoh is continuing to make a name for himself in Sweden's top flight Allsvenskan with IF Brommapojkarna and his latest exploits came against the defending champions on Monday.
The 19-year-old former Accra Lions forward opened the scoring as visiting Brommapojkarna stunned Malmö FF in a 2-1 victory. Alladoh muscled off a defender to get on the end of Oliver Zanden's cross and fired in a low finish. It was Alladoh's third goal in six league matches as Brommapojkarna continue to show promise in the early stages of the 2025 season.
The visitors completed a double blow when Daleho Irandust made it 2-0 in favor of BP less than three minutes later to give them enough cushion to hold off a comeback from the reigning champions.
In the other Allsvenskan match on Monday, IF Elfsborg defeated GAIS 2-0 and another Ghanaian was involved. Defender Terry Yegbe, who made his debut with the Ghana senior national team in 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying back in November against Niger, scored his first of the season and helped Elfsborg keep a clean sheet.
The 24-year-old used his strength to hold off a defender and volley in following a corner kick. The member of Ghana's 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations squad is steadily progressing in Scandinavia, moving from Ghanaian club Vision FC to Finland's SJK, spending only a season in Finland before moving to a bigger stage last season with Elfsborg where he is thriving.
Elfsborg, who finished a disappointing 7th place last season, are now in 4th place through seven matches. Alladoh's Brommapojkarna are 7th with a game in hand on most of the competition.
