Amr El Solia has opened his scoring record for new club Ceramica Cleopatra, netting a stunning strike against ENPPI in the third round of the Nile Egyptian League.
The former Al Ahly midfielder broke the deadlock in the 53rd minute with a powerful long-range effort that flew into the back of the net, marking his first goal for Ceramica.
El Solia’s strike adds another chapter to his impressive domestic career, as he has now scored in the Egyptian league with three different clubs: Ismaily, Al Ahly, and Ceramica Cleopatra. The goal against ENPPI was his 39th in the competition.
By finding the net on Wednesday, El Solia extended his remarkable streak of scoring in ten consecutive league campaigns. The last season in which he failed to register a goal was 2015-2016, during which he made 10 appearances for Al Ahly.
He had also gone goalless in two earlier seasons: 2008-2009 and the incomplete 2011-2012 campaign.
2016-2017: 1 goal (22 matches)
2017-2018: 2 goals (30 matches)
2018-2019: 2 goals (27 matches)
2019-2020: 7 goals (28 matches)
2020-2021: 2 goals (25 matches)
2021-2022: 1 goal (17 matches)

Now 35, Amr El Solia remains a consistent contributor from midfield and continues to leave his mark on the Egyptian topflight after more than a decade of influence.
