Anas Yusuf to receive ₦3.6m Eunisell boot prize as NPFL top scorer

Nasarawa United forward Anas Yusuf has officially been named the top scorer of the 2024/25 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season and will receive a ₦3.6 million cash prize.

Yusuf scored 18 goals in the 2024/25 season, securing his place at the summit of the NPFL goals chart and earning the prestigious Eunisell Boot Award, which places a ₦200,000 value on every goal scored.

Established in 2018, the Eunisell Boot Award ceremony, is set for Friday, June 13 at the Radisson Blu Hotel in GRA Ikeja, Lagos. This esteemed honor not only celebrates outstanding goal-scoring achievements but also serves to elevate the recognition and profile of players within the domestic league.

Group Managing Director of Eunisell, Chika Ikenga, praised Yusuf’s performance and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to promoting excellence in Nigerian football.

With this achievement, Yusuf becomes the second Nasarawa United player, after Sunusi Ibrahim in 2019, to receive the award, solidifying the club’s reputation for producing prolific forwards.

Past winners include standout performers like Junior Lokosa, Sunusi Ibrahim, Mfon Udoh, Israel Abia and Chijioke Akuneto.
