Ghanaian duo Andre Ayew and Kamal Sowah opened their goal account for NAC Breda during their 3-3 draw against giants Feyenoord Rotterdam in the Eredivisie on Sunday.

In a keenly contested game at the Rat Veriegh Stadion, Feyenoord silenced the home fans with Ayase Ueda’s 19th minute opener.

The 27-year-old Japanese international leapt higher to head in Jordan Bos’ well executed cross from the left side of the pitch.

NAC Breda however recovered from the setback to pull level three minutes later from the effort of Ghana winger Kamal Sowah before Luciano Valente restored Feyenoord’s lead at the 32nd minute mark.

NAC did not rest on their oars, taking the game to the visitors which finally paid off after Boyd Lucassen cancelled Feyenoord’s lead in the 39th minute.

Former Ghana captain, Andre Ayew who joined the side as a free agent earlier this season, was well position in Feyenoord’s area to head NAC Breda into a 3-2 lead but the visitors leveled one more time from Ayase Ueda’s second goal of the day through a thundering header in the 52nd minute.

Andre Ayew has now played nine matches with a goal while Kamal Sowah has made 26 appearances with his debut goal as NAC sit in 17th on 22 points, two points below the relegation play-off zone from 25 matches.
