Ayew, who joined NAC as a free agent after leaving French side Le Havre, shared some words on social media about the game.
“Great team performance against a top side at home, and our fans were amazing as always. Happy to score my first goal for NAC Breda, a special moment!
“We keep pushing and building. Let’s keep going!!” he posted.
Ayew, 36, has so far played nine games with a goal despite NAC Breda’s battling with relegation.
Dede Ayew, who previously played for Marseille and Swansea City helped Le Havre avoid relegation in Ligue 1 and he will hope to replicate the feat with NAC who sit in 17th on the league log with 23 points from 27 games.
Andre Ayew’s recent performance has generated debate of whether he should be invited by Ghana coach Otto Addo for the 2026 FIFA World Cup if he stays fit.
Ghana is paired against Panama, England and Croatia in Group L for the football showpiece that will be co-hosted by Canada, USA and Mexico.
