Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana, fellow Africans Noussair Mazraoui and Amad Diallo, have survived a massive squad clear-out at Manchester United.
The goalkeeper's future was in doubt following errors he made after his switch from Inter Milan last season.
Onana made 38 appearances for United last season and kept just nine clean sheets. However, coach Ruben Amorim has shown faith in the former Ajax Amsterdam player alongside Ivorian wonderkid Amad and Moroccan Noussair.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils released 11 players from the squad for the 2025/26 Premier League season.
Notable players leaving include midfielder Christian Eriksen and defenders Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelöf. The departure list also includes goalkeeper Tom Heaton, who is available on a free transfer.
Academy players Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Sam Murray, Tom Myles, James Nolan, and Tom Wooster complete the list of players released this summer.
