Benin international Andreas Hountondji scored for St. Pauli in week three of the German Bundesliga earlier on Sunday. Hountondji inspired St. Pauli to beat Augsburg 2-1 in Hamburg.
The 23-year-old forward joined the German side during the summer transfer window on loan from Premier League side Burnley, as he kept on showing a wonderful performance. Hountondji won a penalty kick before the half concluded. Nevertheless, Augsburg keeper Finn Dahmen could not deny Hountondji from the rebound after saving the spot kick.
Hountondji is enjoying a superb early season for both club and country. He has scored three goals in three Bundesliga matches in his debut season. Two of his goals came against Hamburger SV in a local derby and he also scored against Borussia Dortmund in their Bundesliga season opener.
