Ghana striker, Antoine Semenyo, scored his eighth goal of the season as Bournemouth chalked a 1-1 draw at home to strugglers Burnley in the English Premier League on Saturday.
The 25-year-old fired the Cherries ahead in the 67th minute after a barren first half at the Vitality Stadium in their week 17 fixture.
Semenyo capitalised on a poor clearance in the penalty area and swept the ball into the left side of Burnley goalkeeper Martin Dubravka.
Burnley FC, however, fought into the final minutes of the game, fetching the equaliser in added time when Armando Broja leapt high to head in Marcus Edwards’ well-lobbed ball from the right side of the field.
The Ghanaian forward lasted the entire game, leading the line alongside Netherlands forward Justin Kluivert, Evanilson and David Brooks. Semenyo has now scored eight goals in 16 English Premier League matches.
Bournemouth, who now sit in 14th on 22 points, will turn their attention to the next fixture against Brentford on December 27th.
