Coach Arthur Zwane has challenged his wards to ensure that they dominate all their home games and become a giant of KwaZulu Natal province.
The former Kaizer Chiefs winger made the call as he seeks to build on the last weekend’s 1-0 victory over rivals Durban City at Moses Mabhida Stadium last Saturday.

Apart from AmaZulu and City, the province is also home to another Betway Premiership side Richards Bay FC. Zwane now wants his Usuthu to dominate all the teams of the province when it comes to home matches across all competitions. His aim is to ensure that Usuthu grow their fan base, which they currently share with City and the Natal Rich Boys.
“It’s not only about beating fellow KZN teams but it’s more about us winning our home games,” the ex-Chiefs mentor told his club’s website.
“It’s very key for us to win our home games if we really want to be a competitive side. We also want to improve our fanbase in the province…we want KZN people to come to our home games in numbers,” he added.
“It’s key for us to dominate our region if I may put it in that way, so we must make sure that we get maximum points at home at all costs.”
The most immediate focus for AmaZulu is a PSL match against struggling Chippa United on the road on November 1 in East London.
