AS Roma considers bringing Franck Kessié back to Serie A

AS Roma is exploring the possibility of bringing Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié back to the Italian Serie A. The former AC Milan and Atalanta player, who is under contract with Saudi club Al-Ahli until June 2026, is a prime target for Roma.

The Italian club has not yet opened official negotiations with Al-Ahli but is holding internal discussions on the cost of a potential deal, which includes the transfer fee and the player’s salary.

Ivorian international Kessié, 28, joined Al-Ahli in August 2023 from FC Barcelona (Spain). Kessié won the 2024-25 AFC Champions League Elite with Al-Ahli, providing four goals and five assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
