Aston Villa sign young Senegalese star Modou Kéba Cissé from LASK

Aston Villa have agreed a deal to sign defender Modou Kéba Cisse from Austrian side LASK.

A statement from the Premier League club confirmed: “Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Modou Kéba Cissé from LASK on a pre-contract agreement.

“The 19-year-old defensive talent will spend the 2025/26 campaign with the Austrian side and will link up with Villa ahead of next season. Cissé made his senior debut last term, going on to make 10 appearances in the Bundesliga, scoring once.”

Born in Senegal, he came through the ranks at Spanish club Real Avila before joining LASK last summer. Cisse made 13 appearances in the Austrian Bundesliga last season and is viewed as an exciting talent for the future.
