Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to become a free agent this summer after Al Qadsiah and the Gabonese striker reached a mutual agreement to part ways, sources confirmed to Fabrizio Romano.

The Italian journalist said that the Saudi Pro League side is looking to bring in a younger striker ahead of the new season, with negotiations already underway for Italy international Mateo Retegui. As a result, the experienced Aubameyang will now be available on a free transfer.

Aubameyang, 36, joined Al Qadsiah last summer and had a productive season, scoring 21 goals and providing 3 assists in 36 appearances across all competitions. Despite his strong numbers, the club is shifting its strategy and preparing for a younger profile in attack.

This development opens up an intriguing opportunity for clubs seeking a proven goalscorer with top-level experience in Europe’s elite leagues. Aubameyang has previously starred for the likes of Borussia Dortmund, Arsenal, and Barcelona, and now seems poised for one more challenge in his illustrious career.
