Moroccan forward Walid Azaro delivered a sensational performance to inspire Ajman Club to a dramatic 3-2 victory over Sharjah FC in Round 17 of the UAE Pro League on Friday at Rashid bin Saeed Stadium.

Moroccan forward once again proved why he remains one of the most lethal forwards in the league, producing a masterclass performance defined by skill and decisive finishing.

Ajman took the lead in the 22nd minute through Azaro, who showcased his individual brilliance. Bursting into the penalty area, he skillfully dribbled past a defender before firing a precise low shot into the net.

Liedson Silva doubled the advantage in the 31st minute, but Sharjah responded strongly through Caio Lucas, who netted twice (33’ and 45+6’) to level the score before halftime.

However, when the match seemed destined for a draw, Azaro rose to the occasion once more.

Deep into stoppage time, the Moroccan forward delivered a cinematic winner that will be remembered for a long time. Receiving the ball inside the penalty area, Azaro displayed extraordinary composure under immense pressure. With ice-cold nerves, he maneuvered defenders with remarkable skill before unleashing a clinical finish that sealed the victory for Ajman.

After Azaro’s heroics, Ajman set sixth with 23 points, while Sharjah are ninth with 17 points in the league table.
