Azeez Falolu set for Katsina United comeback after brief stint in Libya

Azeez Falolu is on the verge of a return to Nigerian Premier Football League (NPFL) side Katsina United for the upcoming 2025-26 season.

Falolu, known for his impressive defensive capabilities and control in the middle of the park, was with the Chanji Boys during the start of the 2024-25 NPFL season before moving to Libya for a brief spell.

According to reports, Falolu has agreed to return to the Chanji Boys, and the central midfielder is expected to finalize his return after undergoing a routine medical examination with the club.

Falolu turned down lucrative offers from NPFL clubs, including CAF Champions League hopefuls Rivers United. He is one of the highly rated midfielders in the Nigerian top-flight.
