Aziz Issah rocked by thigh injury, set for three weeks off

Ghana youngster Aziz Issah has been docked by a muscle injury while playing for Barcelona B against Terrassa on Sunday.

Issah who re-joined Barca Atletic on loan from Ghana Premier League club Dreams fc, suffered a muscle injury in the adductor of his right leg.

The club has reported that the 20-year-old will be sidelined for the next three weeks.

Aziz Issah who played a key role in Dreams fc’s run up to their 2023 CAF Confederation Cup semifinals finish, has played ten matches for Barcelona Atletic, scoring two goals.

Aziz Issah is on a second loan spell at Barcelona B

The diminutive winger joined Barcelona B for a second loan spell up to 30 June 2026 following an agreement between Dreams FC.

Aziz Issah was part of Ghana’s U-20 squad at the Africa U-20 Cup of Nations in Egypt where the team exited the competition after losing 4-2 on penalty shootouts against hosts Egypt – dashing their hopes of returning to the World Youth championship.
