Bayern Munich are considering signing Nigerian international striker Tolu Arokodare to strengthen their ranks for next season.

According to information gathered from sources, the German Bundesliga club has made initial inquiries into the availability of the KRC Genk striker. Although no formal negotiations have begun, Bayern Munich has sought information on potential transfer terms.

The German club is interested in securing the Nigerian striker's services to serve as a backup to the lethal striker Harry Kane.

Arokodare has shown exceptional form with his Belgian club this season. He has scored 19 goals and provided 5 assists after 34 appearances in the Belgian Pro League. His performances have made Arokodare a transfer target for numerous clubs, including Borussia Dortmund and VfB Stuttgart.

Other clubs are expected to enter the race for the Nigerian striker once the summer transfer window opens. Arriving at KRC Genk in June 2023, Arokodare has a contract until June 2027. He is valued at €13 million by Transfermarkt.
