Raja Club Athletic new signing, Besar Halimi has talked about his quest to help the Moroccan giants reach dizzy heights following his move during the transfer window.
The Kosovo international has joined the Green Eagles on a one-and-a-half-year deal as they seek to strengthen their attacking options in the ongoing Botola League season. The 31-year-old last played for Polish club Śląsk Wrocław before departing during the current transfer window.

Speaking in his first interview, Halimi, who spent a chunk of his playing career in the German lower tier, expressed joy over his move to “The People’s Club.”
“I am very happy to have signed for this great club. I had heard a lot about it before, about this club’s reputation and its massive supporters,” Besar Halimi told Raja’s media outlet.
“It’s a great honour and real pride for me to play here [and] I will give everything I have to wear this shirt with pride and to contribute to the club’s success and trophies.”
Besar Halimi was born in Germany and spent time playing for clubs like FC Nurnberg II, VFB Stuttgart II, Stuttgart Kickers, Mainz 05 and FSV Frankfurt on loan. He later joined Brondby in the Norwegian league.
He represented Germany at the U-18 and U-19 before switching allegiance to play for Kosovo in 2015 where he has made 34 appearances with three goals to his credit.
Raja Club Athletic have made waves in the current Botola League season, winning four matches, drawing three without a loss as they sit in fourth with 16 points from nine games and they will next host RCA Zemamra on Sunday February 1 at 5:00pm
