Beto, Iliman Ndiaye score as Everton win at Wolves

Everton claimed their second win of the English Premier League season thanks to African stars Beto and Iliman Ndiaye with each registering a goal in their 3-2 win at Wolves on Saturday.

The Toffees went into the game from a 2-0 win at home to Brighton in week two before dispatching Mansfield by the same score line in the Carabao Cup round two both at the Goodison Park.

David Moyes charges fired themselves ahead twice within forty minutes making life difficult for Wolves’ Portugal boss Vitor Pereira.

Everton started off brilliantly when Guinea-Bissau nationla team striker Beto nodded home Jack a Grealish assist with just seven minutes played at the Molineux Stadium.

The home side had other ideas, going ahead to find the equalizer from the effort of Korean striker Hwang Hee-Chan in the 21st minute.

Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye found himself well positioned in the penalty area to tap in from a Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall assist. The score remained at 2-1 heading into the half time break.

Dewsbury-Hall made his presence felt in the second half after pouncing on a well laid pass from Grealish to bang in with his left-foot to and peg the score at 3-1 for Everton with 55 minutes on the clock.

Wolves, who are yet to pick a point this campaign, pulled a consolation through substitute Rodrigo Gomes in the 79th but that did little to salvage any point with the proceedings ending at 3-2 for Everton.

Beto has scored one goal in three appearances this term with Iliman Ndiaye notching two goals from three matches as Everton sit on six points from three games, good enough for 6th place on the Premier League table.
