AmaZulu Football Club has accepted the resignation of goalkeeper coach Aubrey Vilakazi, who stepped down with immediate effect due to personal reasons.
Usuthu went further to name former Mamelodi Sundowns keeper trainer Wendell Robinson as their new Goalkeeper coach with immediate effect.
A statement from the Betway Premiership club confiemed; “AmaZulu has accepted the resignation of goalkeeper voach Aubrey Vilakazi, who is stepping down with immediate effect due to personal reasons.

“Vilakazi was promoted to first-team goalkeeper coach last year after previously serving with the Reserve Team. The club expresses its gratitude for his dedication and contributions during his tenure and wishes him success in his future endeavors.
“Following his departure, the club has appointed Wendell Robinson as the new Goalkeeper Coach. Robinson brings extensive experience to the role, having previously worked with Mamelodi Sundowns and the South African National Team.”
In a separate statement, AmaZulu announced Vilakazi's replacement by saying: “Usuthu faithful, help us welcome coach Wendell Robinson to our city. He is our new Goalkeeper Coach.”
The exit of the trainer comes just a few weeks after co-coach Vusumuzi Vilakazi stepped down from his role at the club citing personal issues. His exit saw Usuthu promote Arthur Zwane to the new head coach position.
