TS Galaxy coach Adnan Beganovic believes their 1-1 draw with Sekhukhune United on Sunday guarantees them a top-five finish in South Africa's Betway Premiership.

With two games to go and sitting in fifth place, Beganovic told SuperSport Television that securing a top-five spot was in his team’s hands after the draw with Sekhukhune.

"It was a tough game, and that is how we expected it to be. I think in the end, when you take everything into account, it is fair to share the points. I am so happy that this point may give us hope for a top-five position. We still have two games to play against Richards Bay and Orlando Pirates,” he said.

“I can’t complain. My team gave everything, and they fought to get the point. Credit to the boys. We have two games until the end [of the season] and all we have to do is just finish the way we started.”

Sekhukhune United coach Eric Tinkler said his team struggled to play their brand of football due to poor pitch conditions.

“The pitch was not in great condition. There was a DDC game that damaged it yesterday. We tried to play the brand of football that we wanted, but it was difficult and the guys were panicking,” he said.

Chibuike Ohuzi gave Sekhukhune the lead in the 65th minute, but Kamogelo Sebelebele struck TS Galaxy’s equaliser five minutes later.
